Another year since you’ve gone And each year I cry The same old tears Each year I sigh With the same old fears.
Another year since you’ve gone And each year I want you even more Each year I want you back Each year I miss you Granddad Jack
Another year since you’ve gone And on your birthday This year it’s true I will be on stage singing, And I’ll be singing for you

hey if this poem is based on real life, your life especially sorry to hear about your grandad. sounds like you really miss him. i never knew either of my grandfathers, all i have are stories tand memories that my parents and aunts and uncles have of them.

Aw, this is very sad. I only have one set of grandparents left. It sucks.

its sweet, I like it, sad, yes, but I like it, I'm sorry if its true, if its just a poem, its still kool, nice work, and if I had to improve it would be to change the two each year lines, to them each worded differentely

The each year bits i was going to change, but then decided that i kinda liked the effect of the repetiveness.
For all of you who are unsure, yes it is a real poem. My grandad died 7 years ago but i am still finding it hard to cope with his death
