I started practicing 2 minute planks. I have yet to make it 30 seconds let alone 2 minutes though. My arms and abs are completely shot but we all need to start somewhere right?

Been doing it myself for about a year, on and off due to some injuries, went from ten seconds to 45 seconds so far...

I can do one minute although it's a bit of a struggle. It helps me a bit to put my phone on the floor right in front of my face and watch a YouTube video. The distraction seems to make the minute a bit shorter.

I watch put the timer on my phone and watch it go up, guess I don't make it easier for myself lol.

That's the first thing I tried but I would occasionally close my eyes to see if it made the time seem like it was going faster. Didn't help at all lol

I find closing my eyes and taking some deep breaths does help.

I have been trying to do planks for some time now. And I have realized that some of the time having some sort of the proper routine for the planks in the morning and evening can be useful when it comes to keep things healthy. I have been managed to do planks for 13 sec at the most which I want to increase slowly.
How about you? How much longer you can do planks?

I hate planks. They are so hard to do but I need to do them so I can build my abs.

I can do the Plank. I prefer it on my hands versus my forearms however. On my forearms, my back starts to hurt even though I'm holding myself just fine. I've slowly increased the intensity. I can do a couple of minutes. I have done more but it also depends if I did any other arm exercises before then lol There are nice variations. Anybody try lifting one hand? If I spread my feet a bit wider, I find I can hold my hand up. It's much easier to just hold it off the floor than trying to put it straight in front of you.

I hate to say it, but I've stopped doing this I got to get back into doing it again.
