I plan to get one eventually, but for now I have my PS5 and a gaming PC, so it really isn't necessary as all the Xbox exclusives also release on PC.

I have a Xbox Series X which I got through the Xbox All Access programme. That was the only way to get one back then and it's nice that you basically pay it off monthly. The PS5 is still my main console but I had to get the Xbox for some of the exclusives.

I don't have one right now, I didn't plan on ever getting an Xbox console but Microsoft's mad buying spree of game makers is changing my mind.

You have a pretty good gaming PC though right? Why not just go for the PC Game Pass. You will basically have the same experience without having to spend more on another console.

Ended up picking up the Series X after I got my taxes back as well as a bonus from work. I figured I could splurge a bit. To be honest, I've barely played it. I'm debating returning it before my 60-day return window is up, but I'll probably keep it as there will be exclusives eventually. I had originally planned on just playing the exclusives on PC, but from a comfort standpoint, especially as I have chronic pain, it is easier for me to play on console, especially for long sessions.

Honestly, if it wasn't for MS Flight Sim and Forza, I would be returning it as well. I like the console but now that I have F1 on the PS5 instead of playing it on the Series X, I just don't use it as much.

Ms is going to be pushing out a lot of games in the future, I'm sure there will be one you like.

The future promise of those games is the only reason I didn't return my Series X. I've always owned both systems in the past because I like playing any exclusive I want to. Especially with games like Hellblade II and the (eventual) Mass Effect & Dragon Age sequels, it'll be worth it in the long run. Though I am still hoping Hellblade releases on PS5 as well since I played the first on PS4, the Bioware games have always been Xbox for me.

Time will tell, MS loves to throw around a lot of money to get big name titles first.
