I'd like to get into it, but it certainly is a challenge. Nonetheless, the payoff of selling digital models could be worth it. Well, that's assuming the market isn't saturated. Anyhow, learning Blender will probably cost - cause it might be the case that the free tutorials aren't enough. Well, who has done or thought about going into Blender? Well, at least Blender is free so you got that much going for you.

I'm actually not familiar with Blender. Is it a graphics program? Blender is a free, open source 3D modeling program! You can make 3D objects, animations, visual effects, etc. with it.
I've heard it's not terribly difficult to get started in it, and there's a plethora of tutorials online to help you get into it, although I've never actually tried my hand at it. I know that it can be a pretty resource intensive process and I know my computer already chugs if I make my digital canvas too big when I'm drawing. Maybe if I ever get something nicer I'll look into it, but I think it'd be stressful trying to wait for my work to save/render on this thing.

Interesting... I will have to take a look as well. It might be fun to just mess around with it. I imagine tutorials are available on YouTube... that's usually where I look for all types of tutorials!

I'm sure a lot of free tutorials exist. They might be enough. However, someone truly serious and wanting to make money from 3D models might want to go pro anyway. A good investment in education could pay off.
Well, if there's really a huge demand - as I think there might be, it would be worth the try. Well, I know I am a 3D model freak and I buy like on Black Friday when I am on this one site.
