Where are some your favorite places to dine out? Do you go out to eat often? What are some things you usually like to order?

Usually taverns or night restaurants around my town, used to go out for breakfast nearly every Saturday morning and Saturday nights once a month, but since my mom passed away, I hardly go out to eat, mostly eat in.

Fast food restaurants, all the time. But I tend to go to proper restaurants a bit less which is something I want to change. My favourite place is a sort of British one. Had some amazing calamari with squid ink mayo there.

I eat at fast food restaurants far too often. I usually don't actually get to take a real break at work so end up grabbing something on the way home because I'm starving. I used to go to a local Italian restaurant or the local Hibachi place at least once a month for a night out with my group of friends, but since COVID, we haven't done that at all so it's been almost two years at this point since I've gone to an actual sit-down place to eat.

My favourite place to dine out is my local south Indian restaurant. They do a wide range of dishes, some of which are quite different from your typical Indian fare (for example, they have 'dosas', which are similar to pancakes ). But, as for the chains... Zizzi is always nice (although it was the first place I went out to eat with my girlfriend, so I'm probably a little biased!)

This Lebanese place in my city, they have amazing maze. You just get a ton of small dishes that the whole table shares, and everything tastes just amazing. Really cool atmosphere there as well! It's expensive though, so it's only for those special occasions.

We try to eat out at a different (new to us) restaurant every moth or so. With covid restrictions that makes it hard since restaurants are closing and some have limited hours due to lack of help.
Mostly we eat at Mom and Pop type of places because they taste better anyway. There are only a couple places that are a chain and we only eat fast food when we travel because it's faster.

We have an organic restaurant we frequent a few times a year. We meet my parents there as well. They have healthy food & the prices aren’t that bad considering it’s organic. We always take our own containers for leftovers. My mom takes the metal straws & cloth napkins. Yep, we are serious lol

We don't eat out very often. It gets expensive and there's not really anything near where we live, so we either have to go OUT, out (which isn't very doable with the pandemic still causing issues) or we have to pick up take out, which might not taste as good after the 30 minute drive home.
I like Zaxby's, as far as chains go. And there's a local Italian place I like that changes it's name every few years so I can never remember what it's called, lol.

I agree with how pricey it can get, maybe one day I can do it all the time.

One thing that has bugged us recently is the lack of good Chinese restaurants nearby. We had an amazing experience at one on a staycation earlier this year so now all the ones near us are not good enough

My town has a nice Thai and Japanese steak house restaurants that are to die for.

Jealous. We don't have a Thai place nearby either which is a bit annoying. We have a Japanese restaurant but it seems to be a sort of Japanese/Italian fusion restaurant so I don't take it seriously.
