I am long overdue for a hair cut. I may do something drastic next time. haha I probably get a haircut maybe once or twice a year.
Do you get your hair cut often?

About 20 years ago I gave up on hairdressers who never seemed to be able to cut my hair the way I wanted it cut. So I have cut my own hair ever since. I simply hold up a hand held mirror in front of my big mirror in my bathroom to cut the back.
Do I ever screw up and make mistakes? You bet I do! But when that happens I simply wear a baseball cap until my mistake grows out. lol On average I cut my hair about once a month.

I get my haircut once a month because it tends to grow pretty quickly. I have my hair quite short, with a fade so a frequent haircut is pretty important. Honestly, if I could afford it, I would get it done every 2 weeks lol

I would get one every month, but in recent years it has slowed down and noticing a lot of thinning, I think I am going bald >_<

I think I am going bald >_< If you are then just let your eyebrows grow long and comb it back over your head, to cover your bald spot. lol

A lot of people tend to do it now although you do have to use hair from other parts of your body xD

I have a very short style at the moment as I had to shave it off last November. I keep insisting I’m going to let it grow back out but as soon as it reaches the length where it’s on my ears/neck it annoys me so I get is cut again, usually every 4-6 weeks.

It was rather upsetting when I lost it, but I have made the decision that heroic measures will not be employed in the rescue of my hair and I've stuck to it. The remaining mane needs to be cut; I'm starting to stray into Kim Jong-Un territory with it.

I had some very nice hair once upon a time. Tell people that you are really not bald and that you just prefer to part your hair very wide in the middle. lol

My hair grows quickly, so I could probably stand to get it trimmed every month, especially since I have a short style. Realistically though, with the trouble of finding the time for it, it's more along the lines of every 2-3 months. So I tend to end up with an awkward mullet in the meantime.
Hopefully I can arrange to get it cut soon, though, because I really hate when it gets longer, haha.

I chopped off my ponytail and went really short with my hair. It's fun to see people's reaction and the look on their faces pretty much goes through the same pattern I've observed... first it's shock, then almost the question like "why would you do that" then a slight envy because they dare not do anything with theirs or at least they never had. It's quite liberating really. I would shave my head but feel like that would be a bit too extreme and I feel like I would have to be making a statement or something if I did that. Less maintenance, less shampoo, less drying, less fuss - I love it.

Thank you for sharing your pic Sharon! How does it feel to have shorter hair? I haven’t had my hair cut by a professional in many, many years. I have naturally curly hair & curly hair IS cut different than straight hair. Many hair salons, especially back in the day, didn’t understand that. I don’t have a schedule of when I trim my own. My hair lets me know when it's time. When my regular routine of cleansing, conditioning, styling is leaving it flatter.

It's fantastic. It barely takes any time for me to tame my hair as long as I can take a shower. If I take a nap during the day I am forced to just put on a cap because my bed hair is terrible. lol

I haven't gone to a hairdresser since your wedding Sharon, lol. Most of the time I chop off my locks in the bathroom while watching a youtube video on how to do it. Having curls helps with the uneven cuts anyway.

I had my hair cut this morning, after two and half months. I normally get a hair cur once in two months. I keep my hair long.

Did anyone else try cutting their own hair or getting a family member to do it during the lockdown? I did it a couple of times but it just made me realise how great my barber is.
