For anyone that went into programming -- What did you study when learning, and what are your strengths? More specifically, what was the first language you learned, and what language are you best with?
For me, personally, the first "language" (not really a language, since it's just for markup) I learned was HTML, but the first language I learned in a school setting was Java. My strengths always remained with web-based languages like PHP, and even thought they're not languages, HTML and CSS. I still dabble with websites to this day, whereas I haven't touched a proper piece of code since quitting my job to look after my mother, so I'm a bit out of practice in "real" programming

I have learn PHP and Mysql in the past also I made few codes that would benefit for my sites. It is one of hardest thing to me because I have to think deeply on the codes. I am not a regular coder so I left it due to over stress to me.

My first language was HTML although I try not to consider that as a programming language. I also have experience with Python, Java, PHP, and now C++ (although only as a beginner)

I can use CSS and HTML pretty well. Been working on my php, so that I can reference stuff easier, without always having to find the html heavy code to do the same thing. And honestly, there are some things in css and html, that is easier to do, over some of the other coding languages I have tried. Things like menus, if coded correctly, is generally easier to implement if you don't go crazy with the coding.
