Does anyone else use Letterboxd? It's a fun movie review site where you can track the movies you've watched and read other users' sometimes hilarious, sometimes really excellent, reviews of pretty much any movie you can think of. I have an account myself ( @grimmsen10 ) and like to use it even as just a record of what I've seen and what I've liked. It may seem crazy, but I've seen so many movies in my life, I sometimes forget what I have and haven't seen, let alone whether I liked it or not. Obviously, there are some that have really stuck with me, but others, it is fun to look back at a quick review to see what I thought at the time, especially if I'm rewatching and maybe my opinion has changed as I have.

Nice! What’s your username? We can be friends. Lol Oh wow you have a pro account. You're serious about your movies huh? Honestly, I mainly went Pro because the ads were annoying me. lol. Also, I use it as a sort of back-up inventory for my DVD/BR collection (excluding box sets and TV series at least).

What do you mean by using it as a back-up inventory?

You can make “Lists”. I have a List that’s titled “Movies I Own” and is just the movies I own on DVD/BR.
I also use the iPhone app called iCollect for a more in-depth inventory (I can log if it gets borrowed, who borrowed it and when) but Letterboxd is a good secondary list. Both are much better than the massive excel spreadsheet I used to use. Lol

Lol Wow yeah you definitely take your movies seriously haha Most of our collection is digital so I don’t need to track who borrows my movies. Usually when I let someone borrow anything I kind of assume they’re not going to give it back (removes pressure of me chasing them down lol)

Lol, yeah. Between BR, DVD, and television box sets, I currently own over 800 physical discs. I have a bunch of digital ones too. I started the spreadsheet in college when my collection was closer to 100 movies because people in my dorms would borrow movies from me all the time. I kind of became the in-dorm "rental" service : : and just kept the list going.
