I can only speak the one, my native English. It is widely spoken and I live in my country of origin the United Kingdom so it seems okay to be like this. I wish I could learn another langauge though but I find it very difficult. I lived in Sweden for a while and picked up bits, but not enough to have conversations in Swedish.
How many languages can you speak?

I can speak English, which is my native language, and a little bit of broken spanish. I've always wanted to learn ASL but I think at this point spanish would benefit me more considering there are so many spanish speaking people in Texas.

😆 That's a straight forward answer. Lol. I am from India, and it is well known for its cultural as well as linguistic diversity. There are more than 120+ languages spoken all across the nation. I can speak total 6 languages. Which are as follows. 1. English 2. Hindi 3. Bengali 4. Assamese 5. Nepali 6. Little bit sanskrit

I only speak my native, English. I'm an introvert so I honestly do better with written words than oral. Learning languages as well as the various cultures has always been fascinating to me. I took Spanish in High School & could get by conversationally. I taught myself Sign Language years ago. I dabbled in Japanese & Mandarin. What motivates you to learn? For me, it's the thrill of being able to communicate with others.

I only fluently speak my native English. I am proficient in ASL though. It definitely comes in handy more often than you’d think working in a customer service based industry.

I speak English & French. I also know a little German, Italian, Spanish and Japanese. I grew up in France very close to the German border. When young I had a Japanese girlfriend and had both Spanish and Italian friends. This is how I came to learn all of that.

I speak English 100%, French 80%, German,Italian,Spanish 10%, and Japanese just a few words. (about 20 or so)
English/French can carry on a conversation. German/Italian/Spanish can ask directions, order from a menu, and can understand what is being said to me some of the time. Japanese/ can ramble off enough words to impress people who do not speak it. lol

I belong to North East part of the country, but working from a Western state. The culture is totally different here. 😊 Hindi and English are most widely spoken language. No matter which state you are in, these two languages will save your day. 😆
