People in the UK have had their heating on for a while whilst those in Los Angeles are soaking up the sun! Temperatures drastically change around the world so people in some countries might not need the heat at all! But if you do, when do you have it on?
I live in a really well insulated place so I only turned it on a couple of days ago, I don't even have it on that much which is a relief. I am really not a fan of winter and the cold so I put it off as long as possible!

For me, we've had the heater on once the temp dropped below 60s. Going outside yesterday it was 43, but in the sun it felt so good, just a hoodie sufficed. Inside, we have wood floors and it always seems to make the house much cooler than when we had carpet. We keep the temp at 72 now since moms arthritis acts up really bad if it gets too cold.

I live in Michigan, USA & I have been known to have my heater on for a bit even in the summer lol I like hot weather & I tend to get chilled quite easily. I even sleep with a comforter. Our kitchen & computer room has wood floors. The bathroom is linoleum. I definitely prefer carpet myself. Keeps the place warmer & for me, when my feet are cold, my whole body tends to be.

Thank God to whoever invented central air conditioner/heating systems. We like to keep the house temperature at 70F degrees or even cooler in the evening. We need to look into improving our insulation. As it is right now, downstairs always feels like a freezer and it's comfortable upstairs.

It's when the temp inside reaches 70 degrees and It's just chilly. I do hate turning it on though, makes things dry.

I live high up in the Rockie Mountains so winter comes early up here. Right now I have a small heater going at night in my bedroom. When I wake up in the morning I put a small amount of wood in the wood stove and light it. By 2 or 3 in the afternoon I have to put a fan on in my living room as it has gotten too hot.
There is no snow yet on the mountain tops but that will change soon. By the 1st week on November there is usually snow on the ground here.

We have central air, so usually keep the house at about 75 in summer and between 68 and 70 in winter. I had one place a few years ago that was ridiculously expensive to heat - it was the upper floor of an old victorian house with all wood floors and high ceilings, so we kept it at 50 just to keep the pipes from freezing and just used space heaters in our bedrooms.

Depends on the place, but I like to keep my place warm, so 78-80 for AC and heat for my place, though It's pretty cheap to run either.

I honestly think I could go through the whole year without turning on the heaters unless it got really bad. I just like the cold which is annoying because the other people at my place are the complete opposite.

We've had ours on for a few weeks, now, though I do tend to turn the heat down when the rest of my family is out of the house because they keep it a little toasty for my tastes--especially once I start doing work around the house!

Anything below 17 degrees lol. I’m from Brisbane, Queensland, AU so it doesn’t take much for me to get cold.
