Delhi is rich in history, but to be honest, I was impressed by a relatively modern structure - the Lotus Temple. It really looked like a giant flower on the surface of the water. Attachments:

This does look very modern. I just realized that I know very little about Delhi or its history.

That looks incredible! I had no idea that existed, and yet it's magnificent! As Sharon said, I know very little about Delhi, it's a shame, as it seems to be a cultural gem of new and old!

I haven't visited Delhi until now but I plan to visit it by the end of next year. It's just that I have seen this Lotus temple structure in Bengaluru too. So, not sure if it's worth visiting but I will try to visit the Lotus temple anyway.
I am sure the Original temple must be really something to have replicas(just building structures) all over the country.
