Delhi is rich in history, but to be honest, I was impressed by a relatively modern structure - the Lotus Temple. It really looked like a giant flower on the surface of the water. Attachments:

This does look very modern. I just realized that I know very little about Delhi or its history.

Looks like a very interesting structure, I'll have to make a point to see it one day.

That looks incredible! I had no idea that existed, and yet it's magnificent! As Sharon said, I know very little about Delhi, it's a shame, as it seems to be a cultural gem of new and old!

I haven't visited Delhi until now but I plan to visit it by the end of next year. It's just that I have seen this Lotus temple structure in Bengaluru too. So, not sure if it's worth visiting but I will try to visit the Lotus temple anyway. I am sure the Original temple must be really something to have replicas(just building structures) all over the country.

Does look great! Like Sharon said, it looks very modern... hard to believe it was built in 1986, really .
