For Elise:
Love is painting our nails on the couch wrapped in a blanket laughing at David Duchovny searching for aliens.

At a glance I thought this was a Haiku It looks like there some inside story in this one yet, what poem doesn't? This reminds me of my friendship with my closest friends and how we can go for days, weeks, and months even at times without talking but when we are together it's like we never stopped and even when we aren't saying anything it's ok - we're in comfortable silence.

I do a lot of haikus, but this isn't one of them, no. I'm glad it makes you feel that sense of closeness you get with someone who knows you well.

Short and mysterious. I love it. I can definitely tell, like Sharon, that there is a huge story behind this. Even so, this small bit gives a lot of insight about the relationship. Well done!

I have to agree ... with simplicity you have created an intriguing story. Very nice ... I quite enjoyed your poem.
