Well, Barack Obama has won the election and is indeed America's 44th president. I'm just curious about what everyone thinks. I mean, this was a pretty historic election - even more so now that Obama has been elected. What do you guys think? Are we excited or disappointed? As I said, I'm curious.

I'm neither excited nor disappointed. Because who knows what's going to happen. I mean, would America react the same if Hillary was president?

I'm dissappointed. But I'm hoping he'll do better than i think he will. But i really shouldn't be allowed to start a political debate right here.
He promises change. Change isn't always for the better. Hitler promised change too.
I'm going to stop myself now.

Yeah, I'm kind of with you Fool of Days. But I figure I'll hold off on final judgement until I see what he does with the country we've given him. I gave my vote, so there's not much else I could have done.

I guess the Canadian perspective, generally, is this. We're a little wary about Obama, but we're glad that more of our neighbours respond to a message of hope and love than one of fear.
