Wireless cable. It sucks and goes slow half the time. My computer upstairs has cable.

Cable. My dial-up used to be painful. I'd literally click a link, go do something, and then come back in 5 minutes.

..one thing no other internet connection can do, dial-up teaches one patience i don't think a person can fully appreciate connections like DSL and Cable unless they'd had dial-up ;D

I can agree with that. After having dial-up for all my Internet life and then moving to DSL back in December, it was like something new. It still amazes me how much quicker everything is now.

Dial-up, I cringe at the very thought. I have a wireless modem from Verizon. It sucks. Its almost as bad as dial-up sometimes, but others its like dsl. I would love to have T3, but that costs lots of money.

It's extremely interesting to come to a thread like this with answers from 2005! This is my internet speeds. I'm with BT in the UK (fibre optic)

Wireless at the moment. Have speeds at it's best, going upwards of 75 Mbps on the download. On average it tends to be between 25-45 Mbps. Want to fork out the money for the basic fiber optic, as the monthly bill doesn't seem too much more per month, over what we are already are paying for.
