Blows.
Way to take another unorigional concept and sh*t the bed with it. The movie is pretty much White Noise meets Feardotcom. Taking a hint from Snakes on a Plane, the title could easily be changed to Ghosts on the Net.
The movie looked like it was going to be awesome, but after you've seen the trailer for it, you've seen all the good parts of the movie.
Boo.
Don't waste money on this movie.

Oh god, I saw the preview for this movie when I went to see Silent Hill and it looked pathetic, to me. I laughed, actually. Then the previews started coming on TV and I go "oh here goes that crappy movie again"
It looks like a bunch of losers from myspace got together and made a cheesy movie with a bunch of closeups of the main actress (who probably can't act judging by the previews) and bulging eye shots of everyone else.
Obviously America can't come up with anything original. This was originally a Japanese movie. AGAIN a remake.

Japanese write awesome horror and we make them look better. Well, we do when we take the time to make a good movie, say like the Grudge.
Pulse can be summed up like this:
Girl: OMG my boyfriend died.
People: OMG people are disappearing after getting some nasty spyware.
Girl: Duuurrrr
Resolution: No one saves the day, let's go camping.

Yeah, sounds like the usual sewers in Toronto. I will probably never see it unless it comes on the movie channels free and I have nothing to do one night. I'll stay up and waste an hour and a half of my life, turn off the light and go "what the hell?" like usual.

I guess a lot of people found it scarey. I can't help but think these people were afraid of their shadows.

my friends were scared of Scream, that's how pathetic some people are ... not trying to offend anyone or anything. But I remember watching Scream 2 with my friends in our living room and my sister hid outside the window and at a "scary" part she banged on it wearing a mask - it scared the sh*t out of them. I was elbowed in the stomach but the look on their face was worth it.

Scream wasn't really scary. I would say it is more of a thriller. Not being able to swear sucks. That kills my freedom of speach!

Yeah but those people were sissies. Scaring them was probably my favourite part of being a kid ... well, the endless freedom, no need for responsibility, and having the friends in the first place were the best. What are you talking about swearing now?

My brother saw the preview for it at Best Buy and he was like "Brandie you gotta see this!!!" But I never ended up seeing it there (he just saw what I'm typing and he was like "OOOHH that was SCARY!!!). I saw the preview on tv though, and I don't know what to think of it.
You say it's like White Noise meets FearDotCom? Well I enjoyed both of those movies... kinda. White Noise scared the...bajeebers outta me and my friends when we watched it. And FearDotCom was okay, well to me. It was nasty.... But Pulse looks kinda... I dunno. I mean to me it doesn't look good, but I'll probably end up seeing it anyway. I just feel the need to watch every movie that suggests it might be 'scary.'

oh man... I saw this movie and I absolutely agree - a waste of time. I think it beats Boogeyman no wait, nothing is as bad as Boogeyman. Pulse is definitely NOT one of my favorite films.
