Let me just start this off by saying the best movies are the ones which are able to captivate us and somehow take control of our emotions, and once the movie reaches its' end we find ourselves, may it be even slightly, as a different person. When I finally came around to watching "What the Bleep!? Down the Rabbit Hole", a movie on quantum physics of all things, I did not expect it to be one of those movies, but when it finished I , may it have been even slightly, changed.
Now I know, a movie on quantum physics is not the kind of movie one would be jumping out of their seats to see, but leaving one's mind open to new things is always good, and after watching this movie I'm glad I did. Even though quantum physics is a very difficult subject this movie is able to do a great job of covering a vast amount of information according to it in a very simple and interesting manner.
One of the greatest things of this movie is all the experiments they discuss within it. They talk about experiments done to water which shape it according to emotions. They tell of experiments which somehow escape the grasps of time. For example, they tell one project which was done studying people viewing a screen showing various images. This screen would show images that would in turn spark emotions within the people according to how they may feel to the certain object being shown. Now, the interesting thing which the researchers found was the the chemical signals of the emotions pertaining to the objects occurred slightly before the image was shown. This means the people were chemically and emotionally responding to things which they had not viewed yet. The previous example was only one of many that are talked about in the movie. In addition the film comments on how our minds can have effects on objects around us just by observing them or thinking various thoughts.
In all, even though this movie is not filled with action and violence it is able to bring up so many intriguing topics capable of captivating people of any type makes this movie worth watching at least once.
Overall
8/10
