Thanks to Laura I've experimented with JASC, but nowadays I use adobe photoshop 7.0 (and on rare occasions I use ImageReady) but anyway I was wondering, what do you guys like to use when creating your graphic images and such. ...or if you don't make graphics, what program would you like to learn how to use?

I use Paint Shop Pro but I have Adobe I just don't know how to use it. I've also used Photoplus 4 (it's really old) which came with my sister's scanner when we had Windows 99.

I use GIMP. It's just as good as a lot of the professional programs and it's free, so that's a major plus. I don't see it being worth dropping the money for a program like Adobe Photoshop even though Adobe's products are really good.

I personally prefer to use Gimp. A lot of my reasoning is similar to Golddisk's because I really see no point in spending lots of money for a paid program. From what I've observed, GIMP does just as much if not more as Photoshop.

Photoshop, and Illustrator for illustrations. I'm becoming a bigger and bigger fan of Illustrator, and really love playing around with it!

No doubt it would be GIMP due to being free. However, I did use Paint Shop Pro a few years ago. I can't really say if it's better than GIMP, but should be due to being premium. Anyway, how do you all feel about it?
O.K., well, the learning curve is always challenging on these programs. How did you find the learning process?

I use Clip Studio Paint. Of course, that didn't exist when this poll was created, but it's very quickly become my standard program. I've used Photoshop, GIMP, and Paint Tool Sai. To a lesser extent I've used Fire Alpaca and Krita. Most of my inclinations are for digital art over photo editing, though I do know many artists use Photoshop, I never used it outside of editing graphics.
