a/n: there were three people killed in a boating accident in Ontario. I don't know their lives, their faces or their names but this is for them.
Goodnight Unfortunate Ghosts
where are you now sinking in the water what will become of you your flesh and aspirations swallowed by a mouth too large to swim out of
what will happen now to the people who loved you where will they seek shelter now that you've drowned
wish I had the answers for everyone and more, including you.
when will you be brought home in a casket that's your doom still wet with uncertainty no kiss goodbye or song goodnight
for a widow who will never be thirsty
there is nothing to be ashamed of the frustration sinking in where do you want your tattoo on your arm or on your tombstone
we all make decisions life is what it is nothing too dark for children not to see
the grey clouds don't form your name or the evidence of the crash close your resting eyes this is my goodbye
this is my goodnight.

It was really nice of you to write this for them considering you really didn't know them. It's a sad story really, but I liked this a lot. "swallowed by a mouth too large to swim out of" Interesting description Nice work

"where do you want your tattoo on your arm or on your tombstone"
Loved those two lines.
There's just that feel of sadness with this.. Well, of course, it's a sad poem, but you really put the feel into it. I also sense a little feel of hope, for the lives of the people who knew them. This was really very nice of you to write.
