yeah, but they fit in with the fact that the armour's restraints too, don't you think... If it could just work without the power cable then they wouldn't have been in control of the Evas..... I really liked the ending, not what I expected, but still great!

I get why it only seems like only Shinji and Asuka survive and they are surrounded by that liquid, it's a fitting ending and gets the point across about that liquid and what Shinji and Rei talk of before he comes back.

26 eps and two films. They all rock. You have to really get into it though coz it's so out there at times
