Is a lunar eclipse when the moon gets in between the earth and the sun? I can't remember.

The Earth's shadow is seen on the Moon during a lunar eclipse. During a solar eclipse the Moon goes in front of the Sun.

Yeah, I guess. So if the Earth's shadow is on the moon, than is the earth between the sun and moon?
