At the gate of life
Chris walked in the clouds wondering if the little girl would be okay. They’ve known each other since she was born. He’s always helped her with everything, asking for nothing in return. Now everything has changed, she doesn’t believe anymore. As he looks down on earth he could see her. The little girl is suffering and there’s nothing he can do. He walks around thinking of her, feeling her pain. Their feelings are combined as if they were one.
Flying around with no direction, he became lost in a never ending cloud forest. Trying to get back to paradise, he found a door. Curiosity seemed to draw him in. He found himself in a hallway. There were windows at both sides. He walked around still thinking about her. With a sudden stop, he looked at one window. Mesmerized by its presence he opened it and found himself in the world of her thoughts. He looked around the chaos and agony she was in. He tried to help but was only a ghost in her memories. Knowing that he couldn’t do anything to stop her pain, he left.
He flew to God and asked him for advise, Chris didn’t understand why he couldn’t help. God told him to move on, but Chris couldn’t. He remembered that once an angel told him a story. That at birth angels receive their own human to hold. Through their lifetime angels will always be there for them. A guardian Angel who will guide what they do. Their hearts filled with love, sent to watch over them.
He couldn’t understand why he couldn’t stay with her. Wasn’t he supposed to be her guardian angel until the day she died? He felt so confused, trying to comprehend everything that had happened he flew back to god and asked if he could do anything to help her. God could see how much he cared for her, but he knew that she would soon die, there was no point now. He couldn’t tell Chris, it would be too much for him. There was only one option, he would let Chris go to earth. Chris really appreciated what God did for him.
He went to the park, because he knew that was her favorite place. She was sitting on a branch at the top of a tree. He climbed up and they talked for a while.
They were both so happy to be together again, because the moment he left her she could feel that something was missing from her.
She asked him “are you my guardian angel?”<br>
He looked at her and cried because he knew that they wouldn’t be together.
“Are you going to stay with me and keep me company? Or will you leave like all the others I have met?”
“ I will stay with you as long as I can”.
She saw him crying and wiped his tears. The little girl was finally happy
because she had a friend. As she climbed down the tree he disappeared.
She waited for him, but he never came down.
He flew to heaven filled with joy, because he had made the little girl happy. A few weeks later he found out that she died. He was shocked, but now he understood. God didn’t want the girl to feel so much pain, She wasn’t meant to feel such agony. At her deathbed she rested happily, She died with a smile in her face because she knew she had a friend,
and he was waiting for her in heaven.
