the ocean never looked so clean because it's the Caribbean in California the sun glistens off the shoulders of surfers ready for one more night with one more girl as long as they're different than the last.
we're crowded and I stand out 'cause my mirror doesn't lie.
the moon will come up on your Sundays but you'll never give it a second look time is a faulty artist with childish hands you can take advantage; you never have to pay just waste it all away.
my lips don't match up evenly 'cause my mirror doesn't lie.
you're a pretty, pretty girl with a handsome, handsome man gripping the wheel of a topless vehicle fucking will take this pain away you're faceless and he's nameless
fucking will never make the mistakes right but your glossed over eyes with pounds of black hovering over your lashes will never tell you that and the expensive acrylic dangling off your fingers will never scratch out the truth
you can say faith will save you as you inhale more smoke you can say faith will guide you back home
never heard of a home without a soul ...
and you're aimless with a loaded gun you're never going to know
we're completely different but I know truth 'cause my mirror doesn't lie.

I really liked the beginning of this. Just mention of the beach and California makes me feel all happy and whatnot.
The rest of the poem seemed to get a bit harsher, but I get where it's coming from. I'm not saying it's a bad thing or anything. And I like the repitition of the mirror part, it works really well.
