[glow=black,2,300]When the world is closing in, it’s nearly impossible to determine which way is up.
The sky blackens and hearts dangle freely from barbed wire hangers, souls drip,
drip,
dripping to the floor in dark crimson puddles of exasperation. Eyes turn skyward begging whatever divine being there is to stop the madness. Tears flow freely through clouds of ice and snow, getting caught among the spider web lies and cotton candy conundrums. Where is there to go but down, down into the deep eternal slumber of nothingness? The coffin is lonely, but liberating; wooden walls containing unshared thoughts and bottled up intentions with deep-seeded regret. Cookie cutter beings melt away into smog filled memories of yesteryear, frosting coated breakdowns hot on their trail. Shattered pieces of menagerie slice open salted wounds. Attempts on the core being are left unnoticed as the whole must accommodate for added distractions of daisy bloomers and rosebud changes. When the world is closing in,
crashing down, spinning right side up, upside down,
every which way, it’s nearly impossible to determine which way is up. [/glow]

" The sky blackens and hearts dangle freely from barbed wire hangers, souls drip,
drip,
dripping to the floor" --this draws you in and makes you want to read the rest. " Where is there to go but down, down into the deep eternal slumber of nothingness? The coffin is lonely, but liberating; wooden walls containing unshared thoughts and bottled up intentions with deep-seeded regret." --I love this whole part so much. I can't describe how it made me feel. Kind of sad but not ... weird. Great job, one of my favourites and a great idea about what's up.

"hearts dangle freely from barbed wire hangers, "
That is... wow.
"as the whole must accommodate for added distractions of daisy bloomers and rosebud changes. "
My favorite part. I can't even explain it.
