Feeling lost in an empty mind Puzzled by the simple complexity of life Trying to find an existence Wondering if life is here to be lived Or are we here to live life dying
The mind that constantly asks questions Of a world not ready to answer No response from anyone Keeps shouting but feels alone Alone in the cold of night Alone with the silence of shouted suggestions
By him self but by no means alone The voice of so-called reason Preaching the verbal blasphemy of hate Telling me I'm wrong and should look around Trying to find good in a place so empty of societies good reason
If life is to be lived alone Cold and shallow with no companion other than your mind The self-asked questions asked by you Will find no answer other than disappointed silence As learning alone to learn from your self Is by no means an easy task Considered as an eternal damnation

[glow=purple,2,300]wow, very interesting, i liked that one favorite part: there is something about the repetition of the word "alone" that i really liked. my only suggestion for you... is to not always have a capital letter in each line. for me, whenever i see a capital letter of a new line i always assume that it's a new idea, not a continuation of the previous line. thank you for sharing this with us [/glow]

I thought that was a very good piece. The emotion in it was well-felt. I do agree with ^Sharon about the capital letters at the beginning of each line though, but otherwise...it was excellent

i have taken the very same advice Sharon just gave about caps, but for some reason, i have a bad habit of forgetting to use the advice even though i agree w/ the suggestion, i liked the poem, interesting topic, seems as though its a situation i find myself often in...

"Puzzled by the simple complexity of life" I LOVE this line. It seems so true to the point.
