and she spreads her arms like wings and pretends to fly down to earth, down to gravel pavement with sand in her eyes she flies, she'll fly she'll die this way
her arms are full of scratches inside of her elbow always bandaged if she's going to be a heroine there's no better way than this
her eyes are blood shot and she'll forget it all tomorrow
nothing compares to this high she loves to feel as she flies blushing her way through crowded streets of beautiful people all perfect in their non-addicting ways she flies, she'll fly, and she'll die this way
to the people with the bloody noses handful of kleenexes torn sheets and their skidded knees all full of lies and painful back stories to all the people with broken hearts from dried plastercine to hookless dreams
she flies, and she'll fly it's no surprise she'll die this way.

"her eyes are blood shot and she'll forget it all tomorrow nothing compares to this high she loves to feel as she flies blushing her way through crowded streets of beautiful people all perfect in their non-addicting ways" My favorite part I liked this. It reminds me of a dream my dad has alot. He dreams that he can jump so high up in the air it feels like he's flying... And he's always saying how he's so afraid that he's going to fall, and it wont be a dream anymore... Yeah, it reminds me of that in a... strange way.

"she flies, she'll fly, and she'll die this way"
......I love the use of these three lines throughout. It definitely concretes the message. I liked this and it actually kind of reminds me of Kate Chopin's The Awakening. Edna Pontellier dreams of "flying" and finally, in essence, gets her wish.......great job.
