[glow=purple,2,300]According to my journal, I wrote this on 9/28/04. hm, after re-reading, I realized that this may not mean so much to some but it means much to me. I believe a few if not more can relate to this in some way or other.
"Paper & Pen"
As I hold this pen and paper I write what's on my mind, and as I sit here writing- I think of good old times.
Remember when we use to think there was no such this as pain, We had many cuts and bruises- but once we knew nothing of heartache.
Never felt so confused or felt like no one was around, Once never even thought about- not having your own hometown.
Never knew what it was like what it was like to be alone, Once never had a doubt- of which place to call home.
But here I am sitting with this paper and pen, Everything I never wanted to be- is everything I already am.[/glow]

Oh, I really like that.
"But here I am sitting with this paper and pen, Everything I never wanted to be- is everything I already am."
That was my favorite part. Great job Sharon.

"But here I am sitting with this paper and pen, Everything I never wanted to be- is everything I already am."
--Yes, I know this.
I feel the need to say this even though I'm sure you already know: it doesn't matter if it means not a thing, not a one thing, to anyone else but you. Write poetry for yourself - if others enjoy it then that's just an added bonus.
I liked this too:
"We had many cuts and bruises- but once we knew nothing of heartache."

ok so you know you've had an overload on spanish when you start to read once as the spanish term for 11... It actually does mean something to a lot of us.. because a lot of us know and feel the pain... Wow I cant believe i missed these poems... some how i missed a whole bunch during my absence and just now i am getting caught up... I really like the ending... it is like perfect...
