Here I am all alone on my trampoline I'm looking up at the sky Waiting for the rain to fall So I can finally cry I don't want people to see the tears in my eyes I'm listening to Perfect as the wind blows I'm loving the stormy look its gloomy like me and I just want to run away in the woods Never looking back And as the rainfalls harder and bigger I run faster to where I want to be In the middle of the woods Where no one can find me Where someone would have to go so deep in the forest in order to find me Where I feel safe Where I can be alone and gather my thoughts Where I can cry alone Where no one would care about me Where I can be free And I'm watching the cars go by on the thru way thinking I'll be able to drive away from everyone Now I'm slowly walking home but this is my home and that isn't that's my Dad's home and I just don't belong.

[glow=purple,2,300]i liked how you mentioned the song "Perfect" people who are familiar with the song, immediately triggers are set off in their minds the message of someone basically not reaching certain expectations.
i think that there are those who feel the need to just get away, because they don't feel like they have control over their own lives where they currently are. ...and this is the message that i found in this particular poem. many could relate to this.[/glow]

"but this is my home and that isn't that's my Dad's home and I just don't belong. "
I completely understand that, trust me. This was a good poem, a lot of emotion.
