This is the first poem that I ever wrote. It's really old.
Cold encircles me chilling to the bone. My thoughts entrance me so I'm all alone. Mixed emotions running through my head. The cold will reach me even when I'm dead.

"The cold will reach me even when I'm dead"
--I feel like I've known this feeling. I think it could mean quite a few different things but I'm not going to list them and take up space.
I like short poems for the fact that they're so much easier to read and you don't forget what you've already read. It's simple, yes, but poetry doesn't always have to be complex.

why repeat what everyone else is saying? I hated it... it was too short... ok so i am kidding... I like poetry that is short and to the point... if it gets too long it gets boring and/or confusing. the words to short poetry stick out in your mind where as you have to keep re-reading longer poems to find the words...
