You have a wide open office space, filling the middle is endless cubicles of people tolling away. Do you find it a depressing thing?

Tough one to answer because it's not something I have experienced as yet. My office (that I haven't been to yet) is an open plan one which I'm not entirely fond of. I wish we could all just get private offices but I guess that is not always possible.

I wish we could all just get private offices but I guess that is not always possible. My workplace as both accommodations, the offices they managed to put in end up being near closet size. |

That doesn't sound good. Reminds me of Ryan from the Office getting put in a small closest/room because he wasn't working hard enough lol

A little - although, I'd probably prefer it over an open-plan environment where I just couldn't concentrate on my work.

True. I guess any old space is good enough when you don't want to be bothered by other people or just want a quite space.

My dream is to jump into one of those companies that offer a lot of freedom and freebies. Large space where you can just walk around and work where you want etc.

Would be the dream. But there are some great companies that are not as big but still offer similar benefits. Just got to spend some time finding them

I think those companies are more local ran ones where they don't have to cater to a larger budget.
