I have seen that one requires a lot of modes for the investment in order to get retired on time. I think if you don't have enough funds for the retirement it can only add up for your stress later in your life too. I have been trying to find some of such investment options these days.
Do you have plan for retirement? what sort of investment do you go with in such case?

I finally got a 401k going, at this point I should just see if I can live to retirement age or if I'm in good enough health to enjoy it.

Private work pension and I guess the majority of the UK will also be relying on the state pension. I'm slowly investing in the stock market as well but that might be for my house rather than for my retirement.

One of the best times to invest in the stock market. I invest in reputable companies like Microsoft, Apple and Google so it's not a huge gamble really. You have to invest slowly as the stocks go down though because we're definitely not at the bottom just yet.

If I had to guess out of the big boys that aren't on Google or Apple's levels, I would probably go into semiconductors. AMD seems like a pretty good shout.
