When was the last time you've done a job interview? I've had a few in recent months and for the most part they've resulted in a wider network. Other workplaces have yet to offer me something I can't refuse as I'm quite comfortable with where I work now.

Almost 2 years now, and excuse my language, but I fucking hated them. Begging and pleading for a job like my life dependent on it, it was rather shameful considering all the years of schooling I went through for a BA.

Sometime in January 2021 if I remember correctly. I've been a bit lucky in that I only had to do one phone and one in-person interview for my current job.

My last interview was in June of last year, for my current position. It was a promotion within the same company but I was interviewing with a management team I'd never worked with at a new location. My recruiter told me that I had some pretty stiff competition so to bring my "A" game. Apparently, I did and I was called and offered the job before I even made it home from the interview. I'm apparently pretty good at interviews, but I absolutely hate them. They give me anxiety.

Ugh, same, my anxiety goes through the roof, can't sleep well and I can't hold anything in my stomach

I used to have a lot of job related anxiety in my life. A lot of rejection I have faced. I think with time and also some level of success eventually you would move over a lot of things in life.

It must have helped a lot with your anxiety if you don't have to worry about getting the job or not.

Nothing is greater than hearing you got the job.

Yeah, I was slightly nervous about mine because they mentioned they would call me by the end of the working week and the time was just slowly passing by. Having to wait to hear from them was not fun.
I ended up missing the call but saw the notification right away so rushed to call them back.

Yeah, it was definitely a weight lifted getting the offer so quickly so I didn't have to keep stressing about it.

It's been about a month. I was trying to get into the IT space but I can't seem to get passed the interviews, no matter how many I do. It sucks.
