I thought it'd be interesting to have a "currently reading" thread sort of like the "last watched" and "currently listening" ones we've got. So, what are you currently reading? Are you enjoying it? Would you recommend it? I'll go first. I'm currently reading The Alice Network by Kate Quinn. It's a novel set in the late '40s, after WWII about a woman who is in search of her missing cousin and connects with an old spy to find her. I'm only about a third of the way through, but it is pretty good so far with an intriguing cast of characters.

Absinthe, wow almost 5 stars with many reviewers! I'll have to keep an eye out for that. I haven't started it yet but I recently picked up "The Millionaire Fastlane" by MJ DeMarco. I am interested in retiring early financially independent and I kept seeing this title in the FIRE community so thought I'd give it a go.

I am currently reading The Mechanic: The Secret World of the F1 Pitlane. I recently got into Formula 1 so I thought this would be a good read. Only started reading a few pages so far but it's looking like a great book.

So, I finished The Alice Network and I'd have to say - I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys historical fiction, thrillers, or character pieces. It was really good. I've moved on to A Lesson in Vengeance by Victoria Lee, a supernatural thriller set at an all-girls boarding prep school with a dark history that has begun to repeat itself. I'm on like chapter 9. So far, it is pretty interesting and I'm definitely intrigued about where it is going next.

Finished A Lesson in Vengeance. It was pretty good. Not the best thing I've read recently, but decently enjoyable with a nice twist towards the end. Next on my list is Daisy Jones & The Six by Taylor Jenkins Reid, the author of The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo which was one of my favorites from last year.

Finished Daisy Jones & The Six and really enjoyed it. It's told as interviews with a 70's Rock Band with a storied history so it's a pretty quick read. I also read it while listening to the audiobook alongside. I definitely recommend the audiobook as it has a fully voiced cast including Jennifer Beals, Benjamin Bratt, Judy Greer, Pablo Schreiber, and more. It's a great listen. Now, I'm just trying to decide if I want to start A Little Life by Hanya Yanagihara or Everything I Never Told You by Celeste Ng next. It's a bit of a dilemma. Any suggestions?

I'm currently reading an academic book called Forensic Science, as it's for my course and I have to learn a lot about it for the exams.

Not sure if it counts as a book but I am currently reading the digital F1 Melbourne race programme. Love that they upload these digitally
