A habit that I'm trying to do daily is to unsubscribe from email lists and mailing lists that no longer bring value to my life. It's a drag...but will be totally worth it in time I think. Even unsolicited phone calls I take the time to ask how did they get my information and request if they can kindly remove me from their list. The iPhone makes it easy to Unsubscribe at a click of a button however, sometimes I notice I receive bounced email replies.

I should start doing this, I got such a growing pile of email junk each day, I can easily cut it down.

I've unsubscribed plenty over the years in regards to e-mails. But whenever I have it has always taken lots of time and I've had to unsubscribe again and again before they finally got the message.
Here in Canada as far as phone calls are concerned, we have what we call a Do not call registry. But it doesn't seem to work very well.

I really need to do this because both my personal email accounts are a mess. I did try to set aside some time once but got bored after a little while and stopped lol.

I should probably do this at some point - although, since I mostly ignore my spam folder anyway, it's low on my priority list .

I wonder how many good things have ended up in my spam folder accidentally. Recently read a news article about someone that won the lottery and luckily saw it in their spam folder.

I wonder how many good things have ended up in my spam folder accidentally. Recently read a news article about someone that won the lottery and luckily saw it in their spam folder. I remember reading that headline! I did not read the article though. This is the reason why whenever I don't get a response from an email within 24 hours (sometimes earlier if it's urgent) I just call up the person I am emailing. For the longest time my boss was not receiving my emails because it was getting caught in his spam filter but I think I've finally made the cut to land in his inbox. lol

I need to go through my email promotions and start unsubscribing. I let myself stay connected in case a really good offer comes through, but because of Covid I haven't taken up too many offers. Some of the sites that offer good restaurant discounts were worth it at one point, but not many are even in business anymore which is sad.
I try to keep my spam folder completely empty as well as my promotion folder and that means daily going through and deleting. I can imagine that if I took the time to unsubscribe that I wouldn't have to waste so much time doing that.
