When it comes to the professional world it's important to grow your skills so you can continue to provide value as an employee and even seek better opportunities. What skills are you looking to improve?

There is no one in town that knows how to repair car computers. Well thanks to online training I do. I have managed to get my new ECM module reflashed, and have learnt how to reprogamme and add the latest updates. I have learnt how to adjust my vehicle computers by plugging in my laptop and sending in the right codes etc..
I have learnt how to erase error codes from faulty car computers, no one else here knows how to do that.

I work in accessibility as an intern. So my main aim is to improve my knowledge of the non-technical stuff related to accessibility. So things like knowing guidelines, laws etc. off the top of my head.

I want to learn more types of coding in the future but I think I would be better if I can actually use what I learn when I learn it. Has anyone learned a skill and then didn't use it so they lost some of that knowledge after? I don't want to be that person.
It kind of reminds me when I started learning Spanish on my own but none of my friends who spoke Spanish would speak with me. So I gave up learning and lost a lot of what I had struggled to pick up.

I mean, I have that same problem even though I'm currently doing Computer Science at Uni. We've had some non-programming based modules recently so I've lost a bit of knowledge. You do tend to remember most of it once you spend a bit of time with it though which is good. You don't tend to completely forget things.

I need to do some more stuff to make my CV look a bit more impressive as well. I do have two certificates I'm working towards at the moment so fingers crossed I can get them added on as soon as possible.
