Anyone here have a Nintendo Switch? Do you plan on getting one if you don't? What games do you have for it or want to get for it?

It's something we've wanted to get for a while now but never really went through with it since it's not essential. My younger sister wants it mainly. I don't care either way since the PS5 and the Series X keeps me happy.

I've had one since launch and I love it. I've always been a fan of Nintendo and have had every one of their systems over the years. I've got a bunch of different stuff for the Switch ranging from the typical Mario and Zelda to some multiplayer party game stuff and different RPGs. I've got around 40 or so games for it at this point. I like it because I can take it with me. I've definitely spent quite a few lunches at work playing in the employee breakroom or hangout sessions with friends drinking and playing Mario Kart or Smash Bros.

I've had it since Smash launched and love it, I'm finally getting more time to play all the games on it and love the pro controller.

Without it, the system is not the most comfortable thing to play, even for someone with small hands like me. I'd say that's my only real critique of the system. In order to give the great portability and versatility, the sacrificed controller feel a bit.

What's the difference between the normal controllers and the Pro one?

The Pro controller is designed more similarly to an Xbox or PS controller, so its a more traditional style and size. The standard controllers are the individual Joycons (the little ones you can detach from the system and reattach for portable play) set together by a grip piece. It is far smaller than traditional controllers and more compact to hold.

The Wii U had as good if not better pro controller, though I do need to buy more in hopes of playing with others in my home.

The recent 4K update for the Switch is worth taking. I feel like those updates eventually add up for the overall growth. Another thing is that nintendo switch is pretty good option for most of the simple RPG type of the games.

I think the Switch pro upgrade will still be a thing, I'm willing to bet 2024 we'll get a new model announcement.

I've had a go on the individual Joycons and they are definitely quite annoying to play because of the size.

I find lack of control balance of holding two controllers throws me off.

Add that to the fact it's so tiny that you struggle to even hold it properly and it creates a few problems.

Not a friendly controller to big handed people, that is for sure.

We haven't tried Switch but I have heard so many reviews on it. Some love the idea. That the handheld & console are a good compromise to any other ones. However, it's also been said to be behind in terms of the graphics that's portrayed. I would have to try it out, maybe see a demo on YouTube, to see if this would be something we would care for. & then, see if that review has an updated version 6 months, a year later. Sometimes people rave about something but once they get into it, change their mind due to bugs they found. For those who have now tried it, what do you think?
