Heres a few poems I made while I was in a creative writing class.
Etheree Poem (First line has 1 syllable, Second has two, etc...)
Sounds
Fill the
Eternal.
Echoing noise
Reverberating
Through the silence of air.
Drip by drip, they trickle forth
Filling the emptiness, the void.
Reflections of tomorrow are heard.
Then we wake to find the sounds are still there.
Palindrome Poem
Twilight
Mimics forever,
Radiating dusk, flowing always.
Vibrating light tempered beautifully;
Waters reflecting the waxing sky.
Time still –
Forests darkened from the fluxing night;
Delightfully swaying
Forever Eternal
-Reflect-
Eternal Forever
Swaying Delightfully,
Night fluxing from darkened forests –
Still time.
Sky waxing the reflecting waters;
Beautifully tempered light vibrating.
Always flowing, dusk radiating,
Forever mimics
Twilight.
Cinquain Poems
River
Clear, Blue
Dancing, Rushing, Reflecting
Always flowing seemingly forever
Water
Fire
Holy, Red
Burning, Kindling, Heating
A shield to the grasp of winter
Flame
Forest
Wild, Green
Entangling, Growing, Reaching
Ever renewing what once was
Woods
Personal Poem
John
Mysterious, Anonymous, Ambiguous, Unknown
Man of Nowhere
Who loves being unknown, puzzling people, and hiding information
Who is afraid of being found, revealing facts, and his identity being known
Who wants to see every town, every city, and every person
Resident of Nowhere
Doe
Riddle Poems (I'll post answers at bottom, but the first one was made as a joke, so I am not expecting anyone to get it)
Silent we are
Unsuspecting we strike
We cannot fly
Yet we take flight
We reach for the sky
To touch the sun
We never can grasp
Emotions, we show none
Lights of the dark
We flicker off and on
When daylight comes
We are gone
Answers:
Snakes on a Plane, A plant/tree/etc, Fireflies
