This pandemic has certainly opened options we never really had before. When I became pregnant I had asked my boss if it would be possible for me to work remotely so that I don't have to pay for daycare. He answered that request with a pay bump with the explanation that he would prefer to have me work in the office so I can lead my own team, a promotion that meant I would have to work from the office. When the coronavirus pandemic hit strong in March 2020 we all started working remote. It was a tough few months but the individuals with poor work ethic weeded themselves out and the rest of us proved to my boss that we could do this. So now I work from home 90% of the time. Occasionally I do work from the office just for change of scenery.

I've been working from home ever since I started at my current place. And now with the new strain of COVID going around, I don't think I'll be back in an office for a long time.
Personally, not too bothered about it. Working from home is a lot more enjoyable.

I would love to work from home as well, but I need a proper office space for me to do it at.

Prior to the start of the pandemic, I worked at an office five days a week. Then, in March 2020, I switched to working from home (along with most other office workers).
Quite recently (in September), I started working in the office once a week, with the remaining four days still being at home. However, with Omicron going around, I might be going back to working from home all the time... I don't know yet.

It's interesting because my employer is pretty supportive of working from home so they've already started looking at changing offices since we won't require as much space. Only been to the current one once but it was in a pretty convenient place for me.

I was still in college when I started earning as a newspaper writer. I made more money as a newspaper writer than a school teacher. After I graduated, I continued working as a freelance writer. Even though I was earning well, I was not content with my income, that's why I started working online. Currently, I am work from home professional.

So the plan was to start thinking about going back into the office from the start of the year. Unfortunately, the UK seems to be getting hit by the new COVID strain so that is looking a lot less likely now. I think we still need to find a new place as well which is proving to be a bit difficult.
