I read this tip once and it's been a game changer for work. I was getting a bit discouraged looking at my everlasting to do list that seemed to grow day after day. Now I put everything on my calendar and it allows me to focus a specific time window to get a task done and most of the time I am able to complete those tasks in less than 15 or 30 minutes and it gives me a boost because it makes me feel like I'm gaining time to get other stuff done or take a break.
Have you ever considered this method?

I'm confused on how putting it on a calendar helps?

I'd just end up forgetting things, to be honest. I use the Microsoft To-Do List app as well both on my laptop and phone so it's always easier to manage it. Plus, they let you set up custom reminder events that are a lot better, especially for daily/weekly things.

Guess I'm lucky, I really don't have a to-do list at work, at least not yet.

Mine's not a huge list, to be fair. It's just minor things here and there where I can't do it immediately like replying to someone or submitting some work.

I'm confused on how putting it on a calendar helps? Having a to do list is a nice guide but it's so easy to look at those tasks and simply get them done when you can get them done. Working fro a calendar helps me with time management because specific time slots are dedicated to each task (they give me a sort of deadline to get each action item done).

I like that so I might have to give it a go. With Microsoft To-Do, I just tend to put in a "due" date and time so that I get reminded of that particular item at a specific time. I then know I have to start doing it then.

I’m the type who likes a routine, a schedule to get stuff done. Then I don’t have to think, I just have to do which frees up mental stress. While I have tried the calendar method, I have tweaked it. I don’t put everything on it & I’m allowed to move things around. As long as something gets done, that is what matters. There are some days I may not feel like doing the deeper stuff, so I hold those off for days I have the capacity to handle it.
