This year I was finally able to get my first garden underway, here are some images: a close up of a few that did well:
Sadly lack of rain killed a few things and the weeds kept being ahead of me, still the flowers turned out well

Beautiful garden! The different colors are so pretty! I do not have a natural green thumb but I recently bought a couple of snake plants that are supposed to be really hard to kill lol. I'd love to grow my own flowers some day. For now I will start with indoor plants.

Thanks! It really isn't hard, just got to get the right plants and be sure to water them.

In theory it should be THAT simple. Texas weather is not kind... and it can never make up it's mind. lol

Ugh, got a taste of this season. Don't think I be into gardening if I had to water every day.

Your garden is beautiful. I love all the colors. I'm not much of a green thumb myself so I always appreciate when people are able to cultivate such beauty.

Thanks, though I may have over spent on it but oh well.
I also had pepper plants, but they were a complete failure.

Love these pictures! Thank you for sharing Did you plant them by yourself? I do mine alone. My husband offers to help but it’s actually therapeutic for me. I used to have a brown thumb but honestly, since being more holistic & organic, which means working WITH not against nature, I can grow a lot of things. & they live! LOL

yep, all by my hand, no one else in my family does it. This bed kind of sucks as there is a tarp under it, but weeds and grass are already growing through it. I hope a lot of it comes back next year.

Oh wow! What a nice selection of colors! These flowers are all so lovely to look at. I've never been much of a planter, but I can definitely get in the zone when it comes to weeding, haha.

I can stay ahead of weeds, but when grass grows in it becomes a lot harder to keep it flowers only.
