Today was one of those days I was where I'm meant to be. My words rippled showing signs of life in what appeared to be standstill water.
My soul filled with joy my thoughts aligned with my heart and even through virtual means genuine reach provided comfort comfort we didn't know we needed.
Note: I just needed to pen this. Today was good day and although this feels to lack structure they're my raw thoughts unfiltered.

This is lovely. I kind of enjoy poems structured like this. It gives them a natural feel, which is suitable when expressing earnest thoughts or feelings.

Thank you for the encouragement. Natural feel is definitely what I was going for so I'm glad that came across! In the past I've been guilty of forced rhyme so it's taken a bit to get away from that approach.

My words rippled showing signs of life I really liked these lines best. Nice job Sharon. This poem, like its title, has a nice comforting feel to it.

I'm happy to see that those lines resonated with you. I was aiming for a visual there - it's amazing how affective words can be to people and that's what I was hoping to illustrate there.

Well done, doesn't need to be well-thought-out if it's true words from your soul
