While I don't take that many pictures, my husband does & he bought us a camera many years ago that we like to use. We don't do cell phones so I cannot comment on how good of quality those would be. We tend to be more old-fashioned. A phone is to make a call. A camera is to take pictures! To me, if an item such as a phone is similar to a jack of all trades, there's too many things that can go wrong with it. Just like how back in the day we never wanted a TV/ VCR combo. When one gets screwy, well, you lose the other too!
So, who has used both? Which ones do you prefer & why?

I do have a camera but goodness I can't remember the last time I pulled it out. I should though as it's a good camera and it's just collecting dust!
I take advantage of the convenience factor of my phone's camera. I have literally thousands of photos and videos mainly because of my daughter who is 3 now. Come to think of it though I do need to organize my photos (get rid of bad shots etc) just so I can appreciate the good ones more.

I used to have a pretty good digital camera that I would use. Now, I just use my phone. I upgraded specifically for the new camera features. I'd love to get into it with a nice DSLR setup or something, but it's just so expensive and I'm not confident I'd really get a return on that investment (ie that I would devote enough time to make it worth having)
