This is a complete WIP. This one actually kept me awake as my brain wouldn't shut up to let me sleep until I got it down.
Anger.
It boils so hot it kills everything that was once bright like the stars at night that you still sit and watch sometimes. Maybe, just maybe, if you reach
high enough, long enough, far enough,
you can borrow Orion's belt to lend yourself strength. Because the hurt, it festers, just dying to claw its way out
in the pop of a bullet
or the crunch of a fist
You were once bright eyed and shining in awe of the world around you - the colors of this life we all breathe in
- When did breathing become a chore you need courage to maintain?

- When did breathing become a chore you need courage to maintain? Did you ever revise/complete this? I'm curious to see what you ended up with. I hope you kept that last line because I really feel it's a line that resonates with everyone. Anger can be so incredibly blinding and it can really feel physically difficult to breathe.

I don't think I ever did actually go back to this. I might have to revisit it though to see what becomes of it now that I've been reminded of it.
