a man who had lost his dogma posting posters in the door of a diner
cringed from his photocopied crucifix
as a more dressed man yelled something about saying no pickles
then i saw on the floor what wasn’t there
i said sir i think i’ve found what you're looking for
but once in hand i was relieved
it was just the end of a poem

The idea is fresh and original and the ending was superb but this stanza: " as a more dressed man yelled something about saying no pickles" --I don't understand. I really liked the ending though

a more dressed man- he is suppose to be a person, who adheres strictly to religious dogma, he yells at a waitress, "I SAID NO PICKLES", and that's what makes the guy jump, while he's putting up his posters, people who get upset, over something small, like their order being screwed up, remind me of dogmatic people, i am kind of proud of this one, as always thank you for your kind words
