I have some fractal art, if you're unfamiliar with fractals here's the definition wiki gives: Related note: These were made using a combination of ChaosPro 4.0 and Adobe Photoshop 7. [Simple object I started with] [This is what I ended up with] I'm not sure how this measures up to other fractal art in terms of aesthetic appeal, but hopefully it's a good start.

Those are pretty cool. I love fractals. The repetitive pattern is kind of mesmerizing. Nice job.

Not going to lie here - I have no idea what fractal art is all about. But I have to say, I really like the second and third images. When I look at those two I see something of a ribbon like nature, but also kind of...DNA-esque, if that makes sense. I really like the pattern inside them, too - that's what makes me see these as blood-themed objects (sorry if they're not at all meant to be seen that way X.x). And I have no idea why, but looking at these reminds me of some of those old school games I used to play, namely Resident Evil and Haunting Ground. Like something I'd see as a loading/saving icon. I like :3

Thanks M.D. I appreciate it I like your interpretation a lot, actually. I wasn't going for anything in specific with these pieces, I just designed them to be aesthetically pleasing ;]

Oh my goodness I LOVED that last one. Looked very cool =) Did you generate that from scratch?

All it really took was messing around a bit in ChaosPro, the equations are way too long for me to write from scratch but it makes it quite easy.
With that last pic there, I rearranged the fractal I generated in the 2nd pic in photoshop and the background I made from scratch :]
Glad to hear you like it! Thank you

Oh now this, this.
I'm a huge fan of space and time and planets and just the whole universe deal in general, and since I'm currently working on an alien planet story - this piece I can really get into. I mean, it looks so simple and uncomplicated, true, but I'm already imagining what kind of lifeforms might inhabit such a place and what those dark areas could be.
I really like the subtle shadowing on the right side and the barren, kind of wastelandish look to the planet; I instantly thought of Tatooine at first glance. And it miiiight just be me, but I also see the curves of a woman's body in the larger dark patch, and I just dig that so much.
