I close my eyes to try and sleep Breathing slowly, deeply as I find my CALM- But there is this feeling inside me Beckoning me, likely there is something wrong.
I lick my lips to feel it's dry I NEED water, dehydration is harmful- Lukewarm gentleness feels good inside I deserve this and won't be startled.
There's a LIE they want to believe There is not enough riches to go around But we deserve a witness to see We can all live in abundance proud.
Not everyone wants the same thing Although we agree we want to be happy Some will try to dance, to speak, to sing Find your love, your passion, YOUR glory.

I really like the last two lines here, Sharon.
"Some will try to dance, to speak, to sing Find your love, your passion, YOUR glory."
Especially liked the emphasis on that final "YOUR." It seems to speak to individuality in a sense of follow your own path type encouragement. I like that.
I wasn't a big fan of the format. The capital letter at the beginning of every line kind of made me slightly detached, like one line wasn't flowing into the next. But that's just a style thing for me.
It's true that everyone's passion is different. Like you said "some will try to dance, to speak, to sing". Whatever you try, love it. At least, that's the message I got out of this. Nice job, Sharon.

Thank you! It feels like it's been years since I've written anything. I'm glad to be back
