"poseidon’s reaper"
and
"six feet psychotic with a cutlass for a soul pray hell hath an ocean"
--were the stand out lines for me. Quite short and a little confusing on the first read through. What was your inspiration for this one?

i want to make it longer, while i was trying to write last night a friend was asleep on my couch, snoring like the devil, so i gave up after a while, edward teach, one of his aliases, was blackbeard, a pirate (1716-1718), he was over six feet tall, he would stick cannon fuses under his hat, curl them out and light them, and stuff hemp in his beard, and light those as well, he would announce upon raiding other ships, "i am from hell, and i will be carrying you there shortly", i can see him on the bow of his last ship, in the fog, the queen Anne's revenge, a 40 cannon ship, it was a square rigged, and square sailed ship, a man named robert maynard finally killed him, it is said that blackbeard fought for 40 min, with over 20 stab wounds, and 5 gun shot wounds, scend= to crest on a high wave...

I love pirates to...
Anyway, I liked
"six feet psychotic with a cutlass for a soul"
Very interesting...
I have a few pirate poems of my own, but they're silly, unlike yours.
