I wrote this for my little niece a while back, thought I'd post it since its something ya know. Well here it is.G'night
A soft yawn from the evening Sky, Ran the sun off with a playful good-bye.
The Moon settled in his star-laced throne, Watching the constellation as he sat alone.
Down below the wind flew through the trees, Striking up music through natures delicate reeds.
Mother Earth continued to work, humming a soft tune, Allowing rivets of angel hair to fall from the solemn Moon.
From those beams came a magical mystery, Thought only to exist back then, in the days of history.
Knights and Queens descended from time, As did elves and fairies, created from rhymes.
Dragons explored freely, mighty bests of the air, While other creatures roamed without a single doubt or care.
Impossible it seems, but so real to see, In your dreams this exists, for that’s the key.
To fall into a world flooded with magic, Righting the wrongs and fixing the tragic.
This door is open, made to escape through, On the other side a marvelous adventure awaits you.
So rest your mind and follow the sun’s light, Allow your journey to begin with a sweet good night.

This is a sweet yet knowledgeable poem, at least to me. Speaks of something a little one would like, but also deepen their understanding of the world.
