I was just curious about the gaming habits of those around SD. What systems do you own? What types of games do you like to play? What game are you most anticipating the release for? etc. . .
As far as I go, I own: PS3 PS2 Wii DS PSP XBox 360 and a bunch of the classic systems (SNES, NES, Sega Genesis, Atari, N64)
The only system I haven't at one point had was the Nintendo Gamecube. We're kind of a big gaming family. My dad works with computers and has always been one of those, always up on the latest technology types. My step-dad is a big gamer as well.
I like to play an assortment of games. My favorite for the PS3 so far would have to be Uncharted: Drake's Fortune. It's short but amazing. WarioWare: Smooth Moves for the Wii is infintely entertaining. Guitar Hero III is great as well. As for PC games, I'm a Sims 2 girl all the way.
I can't wait for Mario Kart for the Wii and Grand Theft Auto IV for the PS3. I'm also dying to find out when KH3 and Tekken 6 will be released for the PS3, but thats most likely a ways off.
So, what kind of gamer are you?

Currently I own a SNES and a PS2.
The thing is with me... I can get bored easily and if I like I game I kind of... overplay it, you know?
Take FF-X for example... I LOVED the game, but I played it so consistently and I remeber how proud/devasted I felt when I finished it (it seemed so short!).
Then there are the random games that I've started but didn't get around to finishing because it lost my interest (e.g. Devil May Cry, The Bouncer, etc)
I do like interesting adventure games but I'm not limited to only those, I like action/fighting games, sports (NFL Blitz, Hotshots, Need For Speed, etc), and strategic games like Command and Conquer.
I love supernintendo - I only have one game at the moment (Donkey Kong). I remember when I was 7 or 8 I was VERY aggressive when it came to playing with the SNES (I mean like.. throwing the controller to the ground or wall) yeah... was a bit violent. I think I'm doing better now though. lol Some SNES games I'd like to acquire some time in the future: Killer Instinct, Super Mario All-Stars, the rest of the Donkey Kong series, and Street Fighter...
As for PC Games, I don't play too many but the ones I do like are... the sims (of course!), command and conquer, and age of empires. I'm curious to what Sims 2 is like, have yet to give it a go though.
Systems I've owned in the past: Atari NES SNES Gameboy (that counts right? including: original brick lol, gameboy color, and gameboy advanced) Sega Playstation Sega Saturn PS2

um, currently own Wii, Gamecube, Xbox 360, PS2, N64. Did own a Nintendo and Super Nintendo as well as the Sega Dreamcast and Sega Saturn at one point, all got lost or whatever. Not really anticipating any games, Super Smash Bros. Brawl just came out and that was the one I was looking forward to. Oh and yes of course Mario Kart - cannot wait, love that game. My favourite games are as follows: The Legend of Zelda - Ocarina of Time, Twilight Princess, Majora's Mask, Prince of Persia - The Sands of Time, Warrior Within, The Two Thrones, Resident Evil 4, Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy, Beyond Good and Evil, Super Mario Bros., Super Mario Bros. 3, Super Mario World, Super Mario 64, Mario Kart, Mario Kart 64, Mario Kart Double Dash, Super Smash Bros. Melee, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Diddy Kong Racing, Wave Race 64, 007 Nightfire, Donkey Kong 64, Donkey Kong Country, Sonic the Hedgehog, Sonic the Hedgehog 2, Sonic the Hedgehog 3, Sonic Adventure 2 Battle, Tetris, Adventure Island, Adventure Island 2
probably more haha but I'll stop

I have actually traded in Beyond Good & Evil twice, but then I end up going back within a few days and buying it back. Lol. I tell myelf I'm done with it (I've already beaten it three times), but it seems like as soon as I get rid of it, I have to urge to play it. Haha.
I've been playing Soul Calibur IV quite a bit recently on the Xbox 360. I really can't wait for Star Wars: The Force Unleashed. That game looks amazing. I've also put in far too much time on my DS playing The World Ends With You - I swear it's one of the best games I have ever played.

Does anyone know when Tekken 6 comes out? Seems like it is set for November 25 currently. Anyway this is what I own: PC Wii Gamecube Xbox (It has troubles reading disks.) Playstation Nintendo 64 (I think... Haven't been able to find it in years) Nintendo DS DS Lite Gameboy Advanced SP Gameboy Color PSP I used to have a PS2 but it died. I'm happy with my Wii, DS, and PC, though. Between them I can keep myself occupied. Never can get enough Smash Bros. Also, I actually have Beyond Good and Evil on my computer, but I haven't played much of it. I should play it some more. It seems interesting.

I actually recently got rid of my PSP, because I hadn't played it in forever. I'm kind of regretting that now though, because I've really been wanting to play Final Fantasy: Crisis Core (which I owned). Plus, Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep is a PSP exclusive. Yes, they are coming out with a KH for the DS as well, but I really want to check out Birth By Sleep. Is it lame that I'm considering buying a PSP off of a friend when I've already owned one once? lol
