Aw, I adore this movie. It's like my second favorite Disney movie of all time. Unfortunately for it, Beauty and the Beast has stolen my number one spot and I don't see that changing anytime soon. lol. Lion King always makes me cry - like when Mufasa dies and Simba is trying to wake him up - yeah, tears.
I miss movies like this. The stuff that seems to coming out now just doesn't compare to the classic-ness and lasting effect of stuff like Lion King and Beauty and the Beast.

My daughter loves it... And I like it too, though I always feel uncomfortable when there are scene's of death in a child's cartoon.

Love Lion King. I've watched them all a hundred times if not more. I have always wondered if Disney was going to make another sequel since they are rebooting alot of their older stuff.

I still love this disney classic, even the remake they did with this one. Granted I was expecting some of the goofy stuff from the original to go into the remake, but nevertheless, it did entertain!

I always enjoyed this one (its sequels not so much), and its timeless, I even saw a stage play in Chicago that was amazing.

An older movie, that's for sure, from 1994. I don't really care for musicals (think Sound of Music lol) but when it's in cartoons, it has a lighter feel. What did people think of the remake in 2019? I haven't tried that one yet. Sometimes when they have that wide a gap, the storyline gets lost.

I was turned off when they tried to market it as a live action type movie, despite still being animated lol.

Read the story as a kid in one of those Disney books. Also watched the original movie and I loved it. I haven't watched the recent remake though.
