a/n: inspired by the title A Coral Room by Kate Bush
Blue Window
there are distances further than I am to the window there once was beauty somewhere inside
it's where ice cream melts in a little girls hand... too unstructured to keep it cool
I see the faces - the "once were here" trying to scratch or dig their way out
not me.
my ghost will stay pretty stain the carpet with verses from a well-known poet
I will become a phrase.
this room... it never moves yet constant - always changing its mood
where the coral is sucked right from the sea and me - I'm too unappreciative to keep it clean.
there have been distances wider than I am to the window and there once was beauty somewhere inside.

"I see the faces - the 'once were here'"
and
"my ghost will stay pretty stain the carpet with verses from a well-known poet
I will become a phrase."
I really like.
This almost seems to me like it could be the idea of a good story... Or it would make a good sci-fi movie... Heh. I like it.

"it's where ice cream melts in a little girls hand... too unstructured to keep it cool"
........That stood out most to me. I don't know.....those lines at least, made me feel nostalgic.....probably not what the poem was going for, but it's graduation time.....nearly anything makes me all misty eyed and girly.
Anyway.......Great job.
